The TBC Corporation with it’s 5 subsidiaries is the largest tire retailer in the USA. With consulting on bridging AS400 to SQL Servers and establishing the Hooks also site redesign consulting which lead to develop a suite of I-Phone Apps for the 5 franchises, Big O Tires, National Tires, Tire Kingdom, Copper Tires and NHC Tires. Features included a Store Finder, Service Directory , Chat with service advisor and a visual wheel and tire fit tool based on a car VIN and user input tied to inventory.

Store Locator

Google Maps API store finder. App suggests the closest store with the available inventory, trigger a targeted offer and store info based on User Meta.

Services Directory

Clean and simple UI/UX makes finding the services you need quickly. Single point edits makes app maintenance easy on content development workflows.

Push Notification

Opt-in push notifications and cross branding brings customers into the stores and geo-coded incentive source coding help drive campaign effectiveness

User Engagement

User profiles sourced on existing customer data makes for an easy opt-in. Service reminders based on users odometer milestones lifts apps store conversions.

Hooked Up

This App was basically a google maps project on steroids. Store data was output from the AS400 to an XMl fire that was used to focus and pin the maps . All the inventory and user data was pulled from AS400 and parsed into xml files for quicker cron jobs  on the mysql servers.
